Our goal is to make it easy for more people to have beautiful gardens. To that end, we offer a range of services and can complete projects of many different sizes—or just provide support and expertise while you get what you need to take your garden to the next level yourself.

Blending English garden styles with water-wise, native and other beautiful plants that thrive in Spokane’s climate, we create gardens that serve humans and nature alike. We also grow our own drought tolerant plants, which can be harder to find in a lot of nurseries.

In addition to perennial gardens, we’ve developed Kitchen Garden designs and a seasonal planting guide specific to Spokane. You can get your own Kitchen Garden and start enjoying food out of your garden, within weeks.

Operating out of the First Fotheringham House, a Victorian-era historic landmark in the Browne’s Addition neighborhood of Spokane, Washington, Fotheringham Gardens is owned by Rebecca Monteleone. An avid gardener for more than two decades, Becca received her Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Washington.
